XM satellite radio is one of favorite satellite or digital radio. The main categories of music that are broadcasted over XM radio are country, hits, rock, deep tracks, bone yard, XM Liquid Metal, Fred, top tracks, unsigned, XMU, XM Cafe, the loft, XM Music Lab, Urban, Jazz & Blues , dance, Latin, International Music, Classical , XM Pops, XM Classics, Vox and Fine Tuning, Kids, Radio Disney and XM for Kids, News, Sports, NASCAR Radio, Comedy, Talk & Variety, Entertainment Radio, ABC News and Talk, Buzz XM, Ask channel, The Power and Family Talk, The Heart and Lite channel , Variation and content channels and many more like these.

Most of the XM radio channels are commercial free channels such that they offer uninterrupted services. The Decades music channel broadcasts songs from the era of forties to fifties to the latest ones. XM satellite radio’s rock category has ten commercial free channels devoted to rock music. Deep tracks channel offers hits that are classic and belong to the present time that is contemporary hits. The bone yard channel plays classic hard rock while the XM Liquid Metal plays intensely loyal metal. Lot of classic alternative music is played on Fred channel. It broadcasts songs of decade of eighties and some aggressive and violent music. Top tracks channel helps people to listen to classic rock tracks. There are few unsigned bands also. The XMU, XM Café, the Loft, XM Music Lab broadcast rock music that is soft and eclectic. Modern and Rap and hip hop music of eighties is broadcasted on urban channel. Jazz & Blues channels are six in number out of which four are commercial free. Disco music can be heard over dance channel. Latin channel disseminates five commercial free channels in three languages. These languages are Latin, Spanish and Mexican. Brand new music from all around the world is heard over international music channel. International music channels are five in number. Music from all over the world are broadcasted over these five channels.
