The Vaporizer is a device that heats a substance, typically herbs or tobacco, to a point where the essential elements in herb are released without burning the substance. People using a vaporizer is facilitated to get more of the elements from their herbs they are looking for with less smoke and cancer causing agents like tar. This is yet to be fully decided and there are no claims anyone can make that vaporization is healthier than smoking. Only in some of studies have however shown that vaporizers reduce toxins in Marijuana smoke. The Vaporizer users tell that they feel it is better on the throat and lungs than smoking. The general principles are for all vaporizers, however there are some differences in how the herbs are heated and the way in which the vapor is delivered to the lungs.

One of the methods is Indirect Heating in this method the Vapor Brothers and Vapor Doc both employ and in this heating the herbs themselves are not heated directly, that is they never touch a heating element. The glass is heated and then air is drawn over the glass to heat the air then the hot air passes over the herbs heating them very rapidly and allowing them to release their essential elements. This Indirect heating produces the best vapor flavor possible.
The Direct heating is another method. It is the common method used by many vaporizers and in this method herbs are placed on a metal plate and this plate is heated until the herbs begin to release their essential elements. Yet the taste created by this method is not nearly as nice as with the indirect heating, also having metal touching your herbs directly can sometimes cause them to burn, or create undesired flavors. One of the different inhaling methods is Direct Lung Delivery, in this method the Vapor Brothers and Vapor Doc both use.

These vapors are delivered to our lungs as soon as it is created. Fresh, new and best tasting vapors are produced in this method and it also has the benefit of creating vapor hits that are as large as you can handle. Before we can draw air over the herbs and there are herbs left to vaporize we can continue to get a hit.

Another common but different method is Stored Vapor Delivery. It is method that is employed by dome vaporizers and the Volcano vaporizers. Different vapors are created by the machine and captured in a glass dome or plastic bag for later inhalation in this method. Numerous people like this method and this method works fine, but it does not always produce hits as large as the user would like and also has the drawback of having the vapor sitting around in a bag or dome possibly getting stale.
